Was sent homemade photocopy of books but charged for real books.

Very disappointed with these books. I bought 3. Two of them were not proper books. Someone had color photocopied the real books and stapled the copies together and sent it to us. Trying to pass it off and charge as if a real book. These books are aimed at kids with autism. I feel that it is pretty low to rip off families and autistic kids in this fashion. Shame on you.

Great for autism

I work with children with autism so I'm a big fan of these books. I find they're applicable for all my kids and losing gracefully is something that's really difficult for the majority of my students. I really like how the pictures focus on the issue at hand. There is no distracting backgrounds. The content presents the topic such as "losing" in a variety of different situations and coping skills for each situation. I find this really helps my students understand what "losing" means and what they can do. I would think that most special educators will really like this book.

very pleased

I received one of the books in this series as a gift so I came to Amazon to buy some more. I was really pleased with this book. But there again I'm a speech & language pathologist and work with children with autism. I now have a few and am planning to get more of them. I'm always making social stories and I love that these are already done for me. Besides I could never compete on these illustrations:-) And I love the questions at the end of each story. Definitely a good buy if you work with kids on the spectrum.
